Who doesn’t love CORNHOLE.
If you’re a Cornhole player …. Are you aware there’s a league that plays at the Aerie on the 2nd & 4th Monday of each month starting at 5pm. They are in need of more players who want to join in the fun. Come down to the Aerie & show your skills.
If you’re a serious cornhole player, why not sign up for the 3 day Cornhole Tournament sponsored by the Roseville Eagles Aerie #1582 in, yes, Roseville, California on April 21-23, 2023. See the bulletin board for hotel information. Just thought you might be in the area of Sacramento in April.
The Valentine’s Day ‘King & Queen Ball’ will be held Saturday, February 11th with entertainment by Country Connections from 6pm until 9pm.
The buffet dinner (choice of Roasted Chicken or Roast Beef with Scalloped Potatoes, Vegetable, Salad & Roll) will be served between 6:30pm to 7:30 pm with tickets $25.00 per person. They can be purchased from the bartender anytime or from Connie Nadzadi on Wednesday or Thursday nights.
To vote for your choice of King or Queen, it only takes the purchase of a $1 ticket (or lots of them) from those running. The 1 female & 1 male selling the most $1 tickets will be crowned King and Queen for the night.
The purchase of the buffet tickets will put you in the drawing for the large door prize. The tickets purchased from those running for the crowns will be put in the bin for other door prizes. In addition, you can buy raffle tickets (3 for $5) for a big Basket of Cheer with lottery tickets from the bartender and there will be a 50/50 the night of the ball. All the profits will help our charity funds for the Aerie and the Auxiliary.
Stay up to date with all the Aerie’s activities by visiting our website (foe3296.org), reading Nesters News, or pick up a calendar at the door. The Guardians play a significant role in every trip, ensuring that every veteran has a safe and memorable experience.
